Come and help our community by shopping and delivering. We are looking for friendly, active volunteers who like to get out of the house. Do you like to be involved with people? Do you like to be part of a team? Would you like to have warm and heartfelt connections?

As a shopper volunteer, you would be working with us at Hangleton Mutual Aid to support housebound residents in our community. Requests are taken by our fabulous Inbound Calls Team and then communicated in an easy-flowing way for one of our shoppers to accept and then carry out. It can be a lovely way to connect with both volunteers and residents in a warm and practical way.

We have a streamlined process in place which will be explained to you, and there are coordinators to support you when you need assistance. We are continually supporting each other as well as the residents we shop for.

We have volunteers who shop on foot and stay within a small local area, some who like to walk longer distances, and some who are out and about in their cars.
