A leading groundworks contractor is looking for an aspiring Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Manchester. The position offers a salary between £25,000 and £35,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will assist in preparing tender documents, managing costs, and supporting project financials. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow with a reputable company known for its projects ranging from £50k to £5m in residential and commercial sectors.
Qualifications
- Aspiring Assistant Quantity Surveyor keen to grow in the industry.
- Experience with preparing tender documents and cost management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tender documents, including bills from drawings.
- Prepare sub-contract enquiries and order documentation.
- Prepare cost budgets and prices for contract variations.
- Support in cost management and financial reports.
- Work on own projects as appropriate.
An exciting opportunity within our commercial department has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Our client is based in Manchester and has won several projects based in Cheshire, Staffordshire, West Yorkshire and wants to give an aspiring Assistant Quantity Surveyor an exciting new opportunity. They are looking to strengthen their team by taking on an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to become an asset to their company in order to assist in its planned growth.
