Qualifications

  • Degree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Some experience in construction, consultancy or property development is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost planning, estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
  • Measure and value works from drawings and on site.
  • Assist with interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Support contract administration under JCT and/or NEC forms.
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Attend site visits and project meetings.
  • Monitor variations, changes and project costs.
  • Maintain accurate commercial and contractual records.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Role

Our client is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team across a range of development projects. You will be involved from early cost planning stages through to project delivery and final account, working closely with senior commercial and project management professionals.

This role would suit someone keen to develop their commercial skillset within a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with cost planning, estimates, budgets and tender documentation
