A leading care provider in the UK seeks a Night Senior Care Assistant to deliver personalized care and lead a team. This role involves planning care to ensure dignity and independence for residents, fostering a supportive environment. Candidates should have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care or be willing to work towards it. This position requires excellent communication, time management skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate care. Benefits include paid DBS, competitive salary, and supportive training opportunities.
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. And, by joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people. Please be aware this is for night shift only and 22 hours per week.
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent. You should have a background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. What’s essential is your brilliant positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, good record‑keeping skills, effective time management, and a considerate and kind communication style with residents and co‑workers.
At HC‑One, kindness is more than a word. It is a belief that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them so we can support them to lead their best possible life. There are five qualities that every HC‑One team member shows up with, supports, and coaches in each other every single day – Kindness the HC‑One Way:
We champion inclusivity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and can be themselves. Our diverse and inclusive workforce allows us to learn from each other and better represent the communities we serve.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You must recognise signs that may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if there are concerns, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, and be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
We are passionate about ensuring that our current and future colleagues can be their true selves and that our workforce represents the communities we serve. We prioritise inclusive working practices and invite applicants from all backgrounds into our HC‑One family. We are committed to providing the quickest possible turnaround from the point of making you a job offer to you starting with us on day one.
