About The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. And, by joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people. Please be aware this is for night shift only and 22 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
  • Get to know residents and their families to ensure truly personalised care plans.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
  • Maintain accurate records of the job you do and build strong relationships with the rest of your team.
Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care and be prepared to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent. You should have a background in person‑centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. What’s essential is your brilliant positive energy, natural ability to get along with people, good record‑keeping skills, effective time management, and a considerate and kind communication style with residents and co‑workers.
