Job summary
A leading education recruitment agency in Heywood is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to take on full class teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate must hold a teaching qualification with QTS and have prior experience teaching within Key Stage 2. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in December 2025, offering a competitive daily rate.

- Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable.

- Manage full class teaching responsibilities.
Skills

The successful applicant will hold a teaching qualification with QTS and have previous experience teaching within KS2.
- Location – Heywood
- Position – Year 4 Teacher
- Type of work – Long-term / full class teaching responsibility
- Start date – December 2025
- Contract type – Temporary
- Full time/part time – Full time
- Minimum rate of pay – £140 – £240 per day
- Hours – 8:30 am to 4 pm
- Teaching qualification with QTS
- Previous experience teaching in KS2
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, though training can be provided)
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional references
