Senior Data Analyst - Migration, FX, Data Cleansing sought by leading investment bank based in the city of London.

Inside IR35 - 2 days a week onsite

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Perform data mapping, transformation, and advanced analysis on large and complex data sets.
• Perform data and system analysis, assessments and resolution for defects and incidents of complexity and correct as appropriate, including optimising fuzzy merge processes between data systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency by enforcing best practices in data governance, security and compliance across the systems.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify data flows.
• Design data solutions, correct problems, apply transformations and recommend data cleansing and quality solutions.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication.

Knowledge & Skills:

• In-depth understanding of the software development process and overall project life cycle (Essential).
• Able to understand business user requirements (Essential).
• Excellent business acumen and client facing skills (Essential).
• A conceptual thinker who can present complex ideas and topics to a wide audience (both technical and non-technical) (Desirable).
• Good analytical skills, able to contribute to major business change (Essential).
• Self-assured, dynamic, open to ideas, able to influence others (Desirable).
• Able to work to tight timescales, be commercially aware, and have the ability to work well within a team structure (Essential).
