A prominent arts college in Westminster seeks a Learning & Teaching technician to enhance BA & MA Graphic Design students' learning processes through technical workshops and expert guidance. Candidates should have a degree in graphic design and familiarity with various printing techniques. This part-time role requires three days a week, primarily on Thursdays and Fridays.
The technical team at Camberwell College of Arts (part of CCW), University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a Learning & Teaching technician to plan, create and deliver student learning, along with formal training and instruction.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and adaptable, working with academic colleagues to plan workshop sessions, supervise learning activities, who provides expert guidance and can help students diagnose and resolve creative and artistic challenges to meet their learning outcomes. Technicians are an integral part of the realisation of students' work; their knowledge and experience enable students to experiment and learn about traditional making techniques and how they relate to inform today’s methods, processes and practices of communication.
This role is for three days / 21 hours a week, with anticipated work on Thursdays and Fridays due to planned / scheduled teaching delivery. The third day can be flexible or agreed to fit operational needs and the successful candidate’s obligations.
