Job summary

A leading fire protection company based in Manchester is seeking a Service Technician. The candidate will be involved in maintaining and inspecting fire sprinkler systems and alarm valves. They will work on mechanical piping systems and have responsibilities that include fault finding and installation of control wiring systems. The role offers a basic salary of up to £45,000, with travel payments and a 38-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical piping systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with servicing alarm valves and fire pumps is essential.
• Must be able to work as part of a teamwork under a Service Manager.

Service Technician

They have become a market leader due to their commitment to quality and innovation, they a diverse range of sectors including, Data Centres, Residential, Industrial and Logistics, Life Sciences and Pharma, Commercial & Retail, Healthcare & Education, Heritage, Defence, Transport and Financial Centres.

Initally based from a head office in the north west Service Technicians attend sites across the UK and Europe. You will join our client in their Manchester office for inital training and introduction to the company and their systems and processes. Once completed, the successful candidate will work on mechanical piping systems and will be responsible for servicing alarm valves, diesel and electric driven fire pumps. The pay scale in place for this position provides a basic salary of upto @ £45,000 and additionally includes payment for travel to and from work in a Company Vehicle.

You will be working as part of a team reporting into the Service Manager working a 38 hour week - Monday to Friday.
