We are looking for a motivated Water Hygiene Technician to support our expanding portfolio of water hygiene and compliance services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of industry experience who\'s looking to develop their skills with a company that values growth, quality, and teamwork.
What You\'ll Be Doing
We\'ll be working on a variety of sites to ensure water systems are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:
- Temperature monitoring of hot & cold water systems
- Showerhead cleaning and descaling
- Inspection of cold water tanks and calorifiers
- Expansion vessel flushing
- TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) servicing
- Cleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanks
- Assisting the plumbing team with remedial works
- Minimum of 1 year experience in legionella control
- Recognised qualification in water hygiene / legionella prevention
- Understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 & HTM 04-01
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Confident in writing clear and accurate reports
The majority of work will be based around the Midlands, Birmingham and the surrounding areas
Some work will be Nationwide and include staying away overnight.
This is a 40 hour working week role
