Job summary
An accountancy firm in Armagh is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining and reconciling ledgers, and assisting with VAT and tax filing. The ideal candidate should have strong excel skills, attention to detail, and be proficient in accounting software. Contract is temporary with up to 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT and tax filing.
- Provide administrative support.
- Assisting with computerised accounting.
