Job summary
A reputable recruitment agency is seeking an adept finance professional to provide crucial financial advice to the Council's Housing Leisure and Community Support Services. The successful candidate will oversee budget performance and contribute to strategic financial planning. Qualifications include AAT certification and substantial experience in local authority finance, along with management expertise. Responsibilities
- Oversee budget performance and prepare final accounts for the Housing Leisure and Community Support Services.
- Support the development of the Council's medium-term financial strategy as a financial advisor.
- Represent the Head of Finance at various meetings and committees.
- Prepare revenue estimates and final accounts within approved timelines.
- Generate monthly and quarterly revenue and capital monitoring reports.
