Job summary
A well-established accountancy practice in Maidenhead is seeking an experienced Accounts/Bookkeeper to join their team. The role offers competitive compensation with a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, flexible hybrid working (3 days in the office), and generous benefits including 33 days of holidays. Candidates should have a solid grasp of double entry bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, and PAYE, along with experience using leading accounting software. - Proven experience as a bookkeeper in a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
- Experience producing finalized and reconciled Trial Balance.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, CIS, and PAYE.
Responsibilities
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Manage client pipeline and deliver accurate financial support.
- Use accounting software effectively to support client needs.
- Attend office in Maidenhead at least 3 days a week.
