Duties

• Preparation of management accounts for dealership sites
• Complete monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet
• Support non–financial managers across the business
• Assist the central accounts team with various financial processes
• Maintain the Kerridge dealer management system and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Prepare files and returns for internal and external auditors as required
• Engage in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support dealership financial health

Specification

• Recent or current experience as a Dealership Accountant in a fast–paced environment
• Well–presented individual with a positive work ethic and professional attitude
• Highly organised, detail–oriented, and capable of working under strict deadlines
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude towards problem–solving
• IT literate, ideally with Kerridge/ADP dealer management system experience
• Self–motivated with excellent problem–solving skills
• Resides near Gloucester, as the role involves managing accounts for two local dealerships
