Part Time Accounts Assistant - Truro / Hybrid - £25-28,000 FTE
Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively reengaged by a longstanding client, an innovative manufacturing business considered a leader in its field. The company seeks to recruit an Accounts Assistant to strengthen its growing finance team. This is a permanent role offering a flexible 25-hour workweek. The employer also permits a hybrid working arrangement (post-training), potentially allowing almost fully remote work.
Working closely with a highly experienced Senior Management Accountant, the successful candidate will play an important role in managing the day-to-day financial transactions. Key responsibilities include:
- Administration of the company’s online banking systems, including adding and updating beneficiary details
- Handling accounts payable and acting as the first point of contact for supplier queries
- Managing the sales ledger, including raising invoices
- Credit control
- Producing financial statements
- Reconciliation of transactions
- Maintaining and updating the company's bespoke digital accounting platform
- Monitoring the finance email inbox
- Assisting with ongoing accounting projects
