A global health organization is seeking a candidate with a solid background in health workforce development to promote best practices and support international mobility initiatives. Candidates should possess a strong technical foundation and experience in health system strengthening. The ideal applicant will have five or more years of relevant experience and excellent skills in research and communication, along with a first university degree in a related field. Proficiency in English is essential, with knowledge of additional languages as a plus.
Essential: A first university degree in health sciences, economics, international relations, international law or relevant field.
Desirable: An advanced university degree in health sciences or law.
Essential: A minimum of five years of progressive professional experience in health system strengthening, management, education, regulation of health personnel, including at national and international levels, with demonstrable focus on human resources for health, including on international mobility of health personnel.
Desirable: Progressive professional experience in working on collaborative national and international projects with United Nations agencies and/or international organisations/NGOs.
Essential: Expert knowledge of English.
Desirable: Intermediate knowledge of other WHO language. (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese)
