Join Pigment: The AI Platform Redefining Business Planning

Pigment is the AI-powered business planning and performance management platform built for agility and scale. We connect people, data, and processes in one intuitive, feature-rich solution, empowering every team—from Finance to HR—to build, adapt, and align strategic plans in real time.

Founded in 2019, Pigment is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies globally. Industry leaders like Unilever, Snowflake, Siemens, and DPD use Pigment daily to make more informed decisions and confidently navigate any scenario.

With a team of 500+ across Paris, London, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto, we've raised nearly $400M from top-tier investors and were named a Visionary in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Financial Planning Software.

At Pigment, we take smart risks, celebrate bold ideas, and challenge the status quo—all while working as one team. If you're driven by innovation and ready to make an impact at scale, we’d love to hear from you.

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Customer Education team. In this role, you will be a key player in developing high-quality learning content for the Pigment Academy that helps our customers master our business planning and performance management software. You will work closely with subject matter experts to design and deliver engaging, effective learning experiences, influencing customer adoption and empowering our customers to unlock the full potential of our platform.

What You'll Do:
  • Take an active role in developing and implementing overarching learning strategies and program roadmaps that align with key business objectives and drive customer success. This includes defining program goals, establishing learning paths, and championing a culture of continuous learning for our customers.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for junior instructional designers and content creators, including guidance on instructional design best practices, team workflows, and professional development.
  • Drive innovation by actively researching, evaluating, and integrating innovative learning technologies and methodologies—such as AI-powered tools and new delivery platforms—to continuously enhance customer learning experiences and improve operational efficiency.
  • Become a Pigment expert and apply core adult learning principles to develop and deliver engaging, high-impact learning experiences across multiple modalities, including e-learning, video, and interactive courses.
  • Partner effectively with SMEs to translate their deep product knowledge into clear, accessible customer learning content.
  • Manage the end-to-end instructional design lifecycle, from conducting needs analyses and identifying content gaps to developing assessments and evaluating program effectiveness based on business goals.
  • Champion content excellence by staying up-to-date with product releases to ensure all customer learning materials reflect the latest features and innovations.
  • Thrive in our fast-paced environment by effectively managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
Who You Are:
  • You have 5+ years of instructional design experience, with a preference for experience in the SaaS and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space.
  • You have demonstrated strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading projects, mentoring team members, and influencing stakeholders at a strategic level.
  • You are data-driven and use insights not only to inform your design decisions but also to measure the business impact of learning programs and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
  • You have a strong command of authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, and Adobe Captivate.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with a team to achieve a common goal.
What we offer:
  • A seat aboard the rocketship!
  • A very competitive salary
  • Coaching and mentoring to aid your career development
  • Along with one company offsite every year, we have brand new offices at the heart of major cities including New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Paris, and London
  • High-end equipment to do your work in the best conditions
  • Remote-friendly environment
How we work:
  • Thrive Together: We can only win as a team. We are all founders and do the right thing for our peers, Pigment customers, partners, and the planet.
  • Never Settle: We aim to become the best at what we do by delivering with rigor and ambition every day. Delivering means building a passionate Pigment community.
  • Go for it: We are biased towards action. Every action leads to learning and these learnings get us one step closer to our mission.
  • Be real, be humble: We are generous with our feedback, open to change our views and we approach it with empathy knowing everyone is trying to do the best for Pigment.
  • Champion our Customers: We lead with empathy, solve what matters, and deliver clarity in a complex world to make our Customers heroes in their organizations.
