The position
The Network/Security Engineer carries out daily activities related to Incidents and Requests.
He works under the operational direction of the Team Leader.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Carry out daily activities:
resolution of Incidents/Problems (troubleshooting, work around, etc.) and processing of standard Requests or Special Requests,
Identify, diagnose and resolve problems
Validate changes such as a configuration modification or the integration of a new component
Fill in tickets (ITSM tool) with all relevant information,
Monitor, analyze and improve infrastructure capacity and performance
Provide support to administration teams
Participate in architectural evolution studies
Propose updating and improving the Knowledge Base,
Establish administrative rules and procedures and ensure the transfer of skills to administrative teams
Apply quality, safety and security rules,
Escalate all difficulties that may threaten the service,
Ensure perfect professional communication with your interlocutors
Ensure reporting of your activity to the Team Leader.
Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree (F-Master or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., Network Engineering, Computer Science, or Telecommunications).
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer (or in a closely related role).
