A global environmental services company is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in Eastern Europe. The role involves managing financial activities for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with various departments. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Finance and has over 5 years of experience in international project finance. Fluency in French and English is essential, with additional knowledge of Serbian being a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial activities in the Eastern Europe zone, including our entities in Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Republika Srpska, Turkey, and contribute to its development in Uzbekistan and other countries.

As part of the Eastern Europe management team under the direction of the Regional Director and the International Finance Manager, the expected contribution includes process improvement, entity structuring, and overall entity performance.

Based in Belgrade, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the zone and all its permanent establishments:

  • Monthly reporting and KPIs. (3 subsidiaries + 3 branches)
  • Project financial monitoring (establish initial budgets, following margin at completion each quarter, revision of costs and invoices).
  • Quarterly closings oversight (provisions, WIP, analysis, and landing).
  • Monitoring of current permanent establishments (financial statements analysis, result, etc) + taking charge of consolidation or creation of new perimeters.
  • Delivering financial and operational analyses (performance KPIs, etc.).
  • Internal control and consolidation of administrative and financial processes (purchasing circuit, banking power, operational processes, etc.).
  • Legal secretariat for the entities concerned, if necessary with a HQ Legal relationship (general meetings, minutes, etc.).
  • Supervision of the zone's finance teams and external accounting firms.
  • Follow-up on any tax audits in the region.
  • Collaboration with operational teams and cross-functional HR, tax, and legal departments.

You will also manage 3 others financial controllers on site.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have a Master\'s degree in Finance. You have at least 5 years experience, particularly in financial control of long-term international projects. We are looking for an international profile who wants to continue working on multi-country projects in a highly challenging international environment.

You have preferably worked in the environment, engineering, construction, public works or industry sectors with a project dimension.

You are fluent in French and English and knowledge on Serbian is much appreciated.

You possess an excellent command of MS Excel.

You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, rigor as well as a good team spirit and ability to interact with an international team.

Regular trips to Turkey, Bosnia and Macedonia, as well as to the headquarters in France
