A leading technology company seeks a Director in Paris to manage engagements with international organizations, develop advocacy strategies, and ensure collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy and relevant experience in government affairs, along with bilingual communication skills in English and French. This role offers the opportunity to shape global technology policies and partnerships.
Microsoft’s United Nations and International Organisations team works with the multilateral system on how technology can help solve global challenges, applying expertise, collaborating with partners, and driving multistakeholder action. As a Director in Paris, you will develop our engagement in a city that is an important centre of multilateralism, and home to a number of important international organisations. You will develop and implement strategies to engage policy makers, and establish partnerships with stakeholders from governments, civil society and the private sector. You will work collaboratively with teams from across Microsoft, facilitating others in their engagement, and delivering a real contribution to the global agenda. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your understanding of global policy, develop your advocacy and communications skills, and engage with a wide range of partners within and beyond Microsoft. Working closely with subject matter experts across Microsoft, you will cover a range of policy issues, supporting economic policy, AI governance, competition policy and environmental sustainability, as well as engaging on technology policy initiatives and projects relating to data governance and privacy, digital security, digital safety, and responsible AI.
