At RemoteStar, we're currently hiring for a client based in San Sebastian, Spain. Note: This role requires relocation to San Sebastian, Spain, and VISA sponsorship will be provided by the client.

As a Manager, you will:

1. Lead an international team of engineers to develop cutting-edge solutions for industry challenges.
2. Direct the technical aspects of complex projects, designing solutions and ensuring quality.
3. Manage projects from initiation to completion, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
4. Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk assessments.
5. Identify and manage risks, developing contingency plans.
6. Motivate and guide a diverse team, fostering collaboration and results-driven environment.
7. Monitor project performance and ensure high-quality delivery.
8. Maintain documentation, report project status, and evaluate documentation effectiveness.
9. Establish clear communication with stakeholders and senior management.
10. Coordinate cross-project initiatives with other managers and leaders.
11. Understand customer goals and contribute to business solutions development.
12. Contribute to technological strategy with insights for clients and technology trends.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related fields.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data science, or relevant engineering domains.
• 1+ year of successful project management experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or mathematical optimization.
• Experience with LLMs and Generative AI techniques like fine-tuning, pruning, RAG systems, transfer learning, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, and Git.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab workflows.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• PhD in relevant fields.
• Experience with quantum computing and Tensor Networks libraries.
