This opportunity is to work in our offices in San Sebastian, Spain.

We are looking for a talented Manager- Solutions Engineering to join our pre-sales team and bridge the gap between our technology and our customers’ needs, crafting innovative, scalable, and robust AI-powered solutions.

• Lead a team of pre-sales and solutions engineers to engage with our potential customers and develop the best solutions for their requirements.

• Project manage all pre-sales requests and team workload while prioritising competing needs and priorities.

• Engage with customers, product teams, and engineers to design and deliver AI/ML solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

• Translate complex business requirements into architecture and design for AI models, data pipelines, and deployment strategies.

• Lead discovery sessions and technical workshops with clients to understand their data, systems, and AI maturity.

• Define end-to-end solution architectures, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training & serving, monitoring, and MLOps.

• Provide thought leadership on best practices for scalable, ethical, and explainable AI.

• Stay on top of the latest trends in AI, cloud, and edge computing to inform product and solution design.

• Function effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy market segment and successfully balance multiple projects (Sales opportunities, enterprise RFPs, SME programs, internal enablement, etc.).

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect, ML Engineer, or similar role delivering AI/ML projects at scale.

• 2+ years of proven experience leading engineering teams of 5+ members.

• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts: supervised and unsupervised learning, LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and model lifecycle management.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI, AzureML).

• Experience designing data architectures (batch & streaming) and working with big data technologies.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices: CI/CD, monitoring, orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubeflow, Flyte, MLflow).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Traveling: Must be available to travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and project requirements.

• Languages: proficient in Spanish & English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI model optimization, quantization, or deployment to edge devices.

• Experience with Computer Vision models

• Knowledge of data privacy and ethical considerations in AI.

• Hands-on coding skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with ML libraries and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
