IT Governance Specialist - IT Risk & Information Domain (f/m/d)
Job summary
A leading financial services provider in Frankfurt (Oder) seeks an IT Governance Specialist to enhance its IT Risk and Information Domain. You will operationalize the new IT Risk Framework and manage risk management topics, all while collaborating with teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Sciences or Business Administration and has at least 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent English proficiency is required, while German skills are a plus.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT Governance or IT Risk Management.
- Experience with IT risk management frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT regulatory requirements like DORA.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize the new IT Risk Framework.
- Manage IT risk management topics and asset-linkages.
- Support presentations of indicators and results to senior audiences.

Education
As IT Governance Specialist in the IT Risk & Information Domain Unit of IT Governance, Risk & Transformation (GRT) you will join the Deutsche Börse Group CIO/COO team. The position will be instrumental in shaping the future IT Risk and Information Domain Unit, directly supporting the Unit Head to achieve the intended outcomes.

With the motto to "safeguard, enable and optimize," our department is dedicated to ensuring that our IT infrastructure and applications, processes, and projects are secure, effective, and aligned with our business goals.
Your responsibilities:
- You focus on operationalization of the new IT Risk Framework and the maintenance of the IT process landscape and ICs
- You will be responsible to manage IT risk management topics as part and in line with the new overarching information domain concept and implementation comprising asset-linkages and ICT risk aggregation across these linked ICT assets
- You actively support departmental presentations of indicators and results, including suggestions to senior audiences
- You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT Governance and/or IT Risk Management
Your profile:
- You have completed your university degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration, or similar
- You ideally have proven skills in designing and implementing (IT) risk management frameworks
- CGEIT, CRISC or similar certification(s) preferred
- You are highly familiar with IT regulatory requirements, especially DORA
- You are knowledgeable in IT processes and open to modern technologies (e.g. Cloud, AI) and methodologies. Data Analytics know-how is a definite plus
- A proactive and hands-on mentality with emphasis on teamwork rounds off your profile
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills will be an asset
