We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence across Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take ownership of a key territory whilst working with cutting‑edge products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across assigned territory
Maintain and grow existing client relationships to maximise account value
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales objectives
Territory Management
Analyse market trends and competitor activity within the German market
Build comprehensive territory plans and maintain accurate sales forecasting
Travel regularly throughout Germany to meet clients and prospects
Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events as required
Relationship Building
Establish strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers
Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer support, and technical specialists
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales cycle
Act as the primary point of contact for clients within your territory
Requirements
Essential Experience
3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a field sales role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience managing a defined territory or region
Strong understanding of the German business landscape and culture
Skills & Qualifications
Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
