EMBOLD Senior Product Manager EMEA, Embolisation, IO&E, PI

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead and grow the embolisation portfolio, focusing on Embold Detachable Coils line in the EMEA region. This role will focus on supporting countries to enhance their market presence, implementing key initiatives from Project Bridge, and ensuring a successful product launch for Embold and other solutions. The ideal candidate will act as the link between global marketing, local teams, and sales to drive the embolisation strategy.

In addition, the successful candidate will bring valuable competitor insights and a deep understanding of the interventional radiology market to inform product positioning and strategy with the deep commercial mindset.

Your Responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Portfolio Management
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for the embolisation portfolio, ensuring alignment with EMEA business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform strategies.
  • Provide actionable recommendations on how to differentiate from competitors and address market gaps.

2. Competitor and Market Intelligence
  • Conduct regular competitive analyses to benchmark product performance and identify threats or opportunities.
  • Track emerging technologies and trends in interventional radiology and embolisation therapies (e.g., bleeding, PAE, PCS, and endoleak embolisation).
  • Share competitor insights with internal teams to strengthen product positioning and sales efforts.

3. Product Launch Excellence
  • Lead marketing activities for the Embold launch and other upcoming products, ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborate with country teams to tailor launch plans, addressing local market dynamics.
  • Oversee advisory board meetings and KOL collaborations to validate strategies.

4. Sales Enablement
  • Design and deliver training programs and materials for the sales team to increase product focus and confidence.
  • Develop sales tools, messaging, and value propositions that effectively communicate clinical and competitive advantages of the embolisation portfolio.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Act as the central point of contact between the global marketing team and local country teams.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to the EMEA leadership team on the embolisation strategy, including progress, critical points, and market challenges.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align on high-level strategic priorities before rolling out initiatives to local teams or making external announcements.
  • Partner with medical, regulatory, clinical, and global R&D teams to navigate product approvals, new product opportunities, animal testings and feedback loops.
  • Work closely with KOLs to gather insights and advocate for the embolisation portfolio.

6. Performance Monitoring
  • Track portfolio performance using KPIs, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.


What are we looking for in you?

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration with a healthcare focus.

Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years in product management or marketing in the medical device or interventional radiology field.
  • Proven track record of managing product launches in multiple regions, ideally in EMEA.
  • Expertise in embolisation technologies or minimally invasive solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of competitors and the market landscape in embolisation or interventional radiology.

Skills
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Ability to gather and interpret competitor data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to leverage market insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in managing multiple stakeholders across diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and align marketing plans accordingly.
