Co-op Researcher: Computer Vision & ML Innovator
Job summary
A leading technology firm in Markham, Canada is looking for a Co-op Assistant Researcher to engage in state-of-the-art research in computer vision and machine learning. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant bachelor or master program, with strong skills in C++ and Python, and a solid understanding of machine learning techniques. Responsibilities include optimizing algorithms under mobile computing constraints and working with deep learning techniques. This is an 8/12/16-month co-op opportunity.
Qualifications
- Strong software development skills with experience in C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (Data Structure / Algorithm).
- Experience in machine learning application and computer vision.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop state-of-the-art technology in computer vision and machine learning.
- Work on videos and image analysis using deep learning techniques.
- Optimize algorithms for mobile computing constraints.
