• Solid understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms.
• Strong coding skills in high-level languages (Java/C#/C++/Python).
• Working knowledge of mobile landscape and architectures.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Relevant experience or interest in Computer Vision, HCI, or Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications/libraries/services for Android and/or Windows.
• Integrate state-of-the-art machine learning models for real-time applications.
• Collaborate with product, research, and design teams to define and ship new features.
• Work with open-source machine learning libraries for various platforms.
• Write clean, readable code and test for robustness and performance.
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency.

Skills

About the job:

• Design and build advanced applications / libraries / services for the Android and/or Windows platform
• Integrate and optimize state-of-the-art machine learning models (vision, speech, or multimodal) for real-time and on-device applications
• Collaborate with product, research and design teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with open-source machine learning libraries and toolkits (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow Lite, ONNX Runtime, MediaPipe) for Android/Windows/Web platform
• Write clean readable code and test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, performance, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

About the ideal candidate:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HCI, or a related field, and registered with the school’s co-op program
• Solid understanding of Data Structure and Algorithm
• Strong coding skills in any of the high-level languages (e.g. Java/C#/C++/Python, etc.)
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
