Job summary
A regional health authority is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide emergency and non-emergency medical services in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include responding to calls, assessing and treating patients, and transport. Ideal candidates possess a Primary Care Paramedic diploma and relevant licenses. This is a casual position requiring flexibility with shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Applicants may be eligible for recruitment incentives.

The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
- Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Basic - Verbal communication skills
- Basic - Writing skills
- Basic - Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
