As a Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada, you will build and foster strong customer relationships within a particular region. You will design strategies aimed at growing regional revenue by satisfying customer needs and special requests. As well as use consumer research to maximize potential revenues and gain the loyalty of your clientele.
In the Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada role, you will be expected to have great expertise with the organization’s products and services that you will present to clients. You will assess each client’s needs to implement more effective sales techniques specifically tailored to each group of clients. Success in this position will be demonstrated by your ability to achieve or beat the established revenue targets set by the organization.
Regularly meets with regional clients
Observes competitor strategies within the assigned region
Provides detailed reports to the sales director
Outlines efficient sales strategies
Responds to regional client needs with solutions from the company
Manage sales agencies and their representatives to ensure they are meeting our sales objectives and outlined performance metrics
Monitors sales KPIs
Leads training sessions on company product offerings and sales techniques
Punctually represents Oatey in local tradeshows and events
Provides feedback about product trends as seen in the local market
Maintain a close and collaborative relationship with other functional teams
Conduct presentations at customer locations within the assigned territory
Frequent travel within the territory, often up to several hours of driving per day
Overnight Travel a minimum of 3-5 days per month
Ability to attend travel to the Newmarket, Ontario office quarterly.
Occasional lifting of items up to 50lbs
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent Oral and written communication skills
Great collaborative and time-management skills
Sales-oriented and analytical
Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
Experience working with third party sales agencies/representatives is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or another related field.
