Job description

Start Date: January 22 onwards

MDSearch is recruiting ER physicians to join Inuvik Regional Hospital, a 51-bed facility with 12 acute care beds and the only hospital serving the Beaufort-Delta region. CCFP-EM certification is not required, but candidates must be comfortable in an ER.

Compensation: Hourly rate (no fee for service). Requirements:
  • CCFP (required)
  • ACLS
  • Vulnerable Sector Clearance
  • Comfortable working independently in a rural ER
  • Eligible for licensure in the Northwest Territories
Benefits:
  • Travel and accommodations fully covered (meals not included)
  • Travel stipend up to $3,000 for locums travelling to Inuvik (for start dates between Jan 5 – March 31, based on travel time)
  • Locum blocks are typically 1–2 weeks, with longer assignments available
