A high-tech company in Metro Vancouver seeks a skilled technician to install and demonstrate CNC machines. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting machine issues and training customers. Candidates must possess a technical degree in engineering principles or equivalent experience, with the ability to travel frequently. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on innovation and customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Two-years technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
- Experience in computer software/file management is an advantage.
Responsabilités
- Install and demonstrate CNC machines primarily at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine related problems.
- Interface with customers and train them on machine use.

- Install and demonstrate TRUMPF CNC machines primarily at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine related problems.
- Accurately report technical conditions and information.
- Work as required with minimal or no supervision.
- Travel up to 100%. Travel includes regional, national and international travel.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds without aid.
- Interface with customers in use and repair of TRUMPF machines in a complete and organized manner. Train customers in use and repair of TRUMPF machines in a complete and organized manner.
- Submit required weekly TRUMPF reports in a complete and organized manner.
- Assist other Field Engineers as directed.
Two-years technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience. Also, experience in computer software/file management is of advantage.
Position Available for BC area and surrounding
