Job summary
Midas seeks a Service Advisor to enhance shop profitability through excellent customer service. This role requires a blend of automotive expertise and strong communication skills. You will assist customers with estimates and ensure a smooth operational workflow, all while working in a bilingual environment to meet diverse customer needs.
Qualifications
- General automotive knowledge and CPA certifications as needed.
- Bilingual in French and English required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present estimates, source parts, and sell jobs to customers.
- Oversee work order preparation and scheduling.
- Respond to customer service concerns and problems.

Job description
At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through CPA Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.
Responsibilities
The Service Advisor supports the Shop Manager in the optimization of the shop’s retail sales and profitability while delivering superior customer service, including:
- Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers
- Interpret inspection results (working with Technician) and present results to customers
- Deliver superior customer service while listening and consulting customers
- Contributing to the effectiveness of peers to promote success
- Oversee the processes of work order preparation and scheduling
- Respond to customer service concerns and problems
- Act in a store management capacity as needed on day-to-day operational activities
- Monitors and control facility and asset utilization
- Increase and optimize retail sales and shop profitability, achieving or exceeding shop objectives and goals
- Maximize the safety and well-being of the shop employees and to be a good corporate citizen in the communities within which the shop operates
Qualifications
- General automotive knowledge
- Bilingual (French / English)
- CPA certifications as required
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Service diagnosis and technical skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
