The successful candidate will monitor various processing units, perform equipment checks, and ensure operation safety. A high school diploma is required, along with progress towards ABSA certification. Located in Fort Saskatchewan, Dow Canada operates four large‑scale production units specializing in hydrocarbons, ethylene, polyethylene, and electricity. As one of Canada’s largest petrochemical facilities, we support Dow’s global customers while also advancing sustainability initiatives like the Path2Zero (P2Z) program. This groundbreaking initiative aims to create the world’s first net‑zero emissions site, a cornerstone of Dow’s decarbonization strategy.
As a Chemical Processing Operator, you will be instrumental in optimizing plant performance across various units such Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities. This involves monitoring process equipment, performing field checks, adjusting controls, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of our facilities.
