Job description

The Total Rewards Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's total rewards strategy, including benefit, pension, and other program administration and reporting.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, you will collaborate with HR Business Partners and external partners to provide insights, manage data governance, and ensure equitable administration of total reward offerings.

Pension & Benefits :
  • Administer pension and benefit processes via MLSE's HRIS system (Workday), ensuring data integrity and utilizing reporting features.
  • Manage MLSE's EAP Canadian and US Benefit plans, including enrollments, premium remittance, and reconciliation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and liaise with providers to address benefit concerns.
  • Oversee and process enrollments and terminations for MLSE's Group RRSP and Defined Contribution Pension Plan, providing accurate information to plan administrators.
  • Assist with disability and leave management.
  • Participate in HR technology projects aimed at benefits process improvements and data accuracy in Workday.
Wellness Program Coordination
  • Support the execution of wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to promote engagement, monitor participation, and evaluate effectiveness.
Reporting :
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on compensation, benefits, vacation accrual, and workforce metrics.
  • Assist with audits and data validation.
Compensation :
  • Support annual rate increases for hourly employees.
  • Contribute to other compensation projects as needed.
Qualifications :

  • Experience with HRIS systems (preferably cloud-based like Workday, Oracle).
  • 1-2 years of pension/benefit administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Customer-focused with adaptability to change and ambiguity.
  • Decision-making within guidelines and policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian benefits and pension legislation.
  • Certifications such as CHRP, CCP, or CEBS are assets.
