As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a proactive Sales Manager for Ontario to lead the charge.

Job Overview:

As our Sales Manager for Western + Central Ontario, your priority is to build, lead and grow a high‑performing team while driving customer acquisition and long‑term client success. You’ll blend strategic thinking with hands‑on selling, guiding your team and clients through a rapidly evolving B2B landscape. This is an outside sales position where you will take a proactive approach to developing new business, increasing sales with existing clients, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell products and services for your team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer needs and buying behaviors, skilled in relationship building, internally and externally, and excel in selling complex solutions in a consultative manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, Train, and Manage Ontario Account Representatives:
    • Recruit, train and lead a team of Account Representatives across Western & Central Ontario.
    • Train and support account representatives on digital tools and best practices to guide dealers to maximize platform value and operational efficiency.
    • Coach, support and hold your team accountable for performance and territory growth.
  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Proactively identify, prospect, and close new accounts for your team across the region.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key decision‑makers and buyers.
    • Understand customer buying processes and develop tailored sales strategies to meet their needs.
    • Drive territory growth by identifying cross‑sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and support for account representatives and help nurture long‑lasting partnerships with dealers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and responsiveness.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify business challenges and recommend solutions.
    • Develop and present sales proposals that address customer pain points and deliver value.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage the full sales cycle from initial lead generation to close and post‑sales follow‑up.
    • Track and manage all account activity, sales progress, and opportunities using CRM tools to track and report sales on your team.
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., inside sales team, operations) to ensure smooth delivery of products/services.
  • Sales Goals & Reporting:
    • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
    • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and ensure consistent follow‑ups to move prospects through the sales process.
    • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor activities.
    • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and improve sales strategies.
Job Type & Compensation

Job Type: Full‑Time | Monday to Friday | 40 Hours per week

Job Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years in outside sales or account management, with a focus on customer buyers.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
    • Experience in automotive industry preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong ability to build relationships and influence key decision‑makers.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Other: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
