A leading sourcing firm in North Vancouver seeks a highly qualified Senior Project Leader. This role involves overseeing infrastructure projects related to hatchery modernization and salmon habitat restoration. Ideal candidates will have P.Eng designation, PMP certification, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The position offers competitive pay and a hybrid work schedule.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects with environmental/scientific scope.
- Experience managing projects over $20M and working with biological risk mitigation teams.
- Experience working on projects to modernize fish hatcheries within the last 10 years.

- Provide strategic oversight and technical review of infrastructure projects.
- Support contracting, tendering, and change management processes.

Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Leader to oversee the planning and execution of infrastructure projects related to hatchery modernization and salmon habitat restoration. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer designation, PMP certification, and extensive experience managing large-scale public sector projects with environmental or scientific components.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation (GANTT charts, risk registers, etc.)
- Provide strategic oversight and technical review of infrastructure projects
- Support contracting, tendering, and change management processes
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including government bodies, First Nations, and scientific teams
- Supervise and guide project managers across all levels
- Attend site visits and stakeholder meetings as required
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation (mandatory)
- PMP certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects with environmental/scientific scope
- Experience managing projects over $20M and working with biological risk mitigation teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working on projects to modernize fish hatcheries within the last 10 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Vancouver, BC V7R 4L3
