Overview

Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Leader to oversee the planning and execution of infrastructure projects related to hatchery modernization and salmon habitat restoration. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer designation, PMP certification, and extensive experience managing large-scale public sector projects with environmental or scientific components.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation (GANTT charts, risk registers, etc.)
• Provide strategic oversight and technical review of infrastructure projects
• Support contracting, tendering, and change management processes
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including government bodies, First Nations, and scientific teams
• Supervise and guide project managers across all levels
• Attend site visits and stakeholder meetings as required

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation (mandatory)
• PMP certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects with environmental/scientific scope
