The nurses at Health PEI have two main focuses: providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the way we deliver and scale healthcare solutions in PEI. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and improving patient outcomes as part of a collaborative team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving nursing practice and patient outcomes on Prince Edward Island.

What you’ll do

Whether Permanent Full-Time, Permanent Part-Time, or in Temporary roles, our nurses do the following:

  • Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings;
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess care needs and develop individual care plans tailored to patient needs;
  • Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care management strategies;
  • Participate in clinical assessments, nursing interventions, and medication administration in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based practices;
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes;
  • Build partnerships, communicate transparently and effectively, and contribute to a support environment in our growing and busy facilities;

What we offer

Salary: Ranging From $38.90/hour (RN-1 Step-1) To $55.45/ hour (RN-4 Step- 6)
