Job summary
A local health center is seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating and providing care according to the current Standards of Practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. This position requires CPR certification and preferred experience in triage and intravenous care, with a salary range of $39.07 – $56.00 in accordance with the ONA Collective Agreement.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, non-judgmental manner, team player.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize based on acuity.
- Exceptional crisis intervention skills including de-escalation techniques.
- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of position.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to and relief for all areas as required.
- Perform triage, collect information, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Work the present 12-hour shift rotation.
