Job summary
A regional health authority in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Casual Occupational Therapist to join their Rehabilitation & Recovery team. The successful candidate will provide effective therapy services and work closely with mental health clients across various facilities. Key requirements include graduation from an Occupational Therapy program and 2 years of recent experience. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
- Two (2) years recent related clinical experience working with mental health clients.
- Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
Responsibilities
- Provides occupational therapy assessment and interventions to promote independence and safety.
- Collaborates with colleagues and caregivers to develop treatment goals.
- Conducts clinical assessments of each patient's activities of daily living.
