Role Summary:
The Head of Global Marketing will play a pivotal role in building and establishing a world-class marketing function within NDI. This leader will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, defining the core marketing capabilities, and ensuring marketing is a key driver of business growth and commercial success. With a focus on downstream commercialization and brand development, this role will build the foundation of our marketing strategy, align global efforts, and ensure seamless collaboration with sales, product management, clinical applications, and leadership teams.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy that supports business growth and strengthens our brand position in the medical technology/navigation space.
- Establish and lead the marketing department, defining the structure, capabilities, and processes needed for success.
- Align marketing efforts with commercial objectives to enhance customer engagement, sales enablement, and revenue generation.
Brand & Market Positioning
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints, including digital, print, events, and sales materials.
- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, digital campaigns, and thought leadership content that reinforces the company’s value proposition.
Product & Commercial Marketing
- Establish the marketing fundamentals, including market analysis, customer insights, and product positioning for existing products, as well as downstream commercialization: go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and demand generation.
- Lead global marketing initiatives to drive adoption, customer loyalty, and competitive differentiation.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Optimize marketing channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, social media, and partnerships.
- Support field sales teams with targeted campaigns, sales tools, and competitive insights.
Metrics, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing impact and ROI.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize campaign performance, and enhance customer engagement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Team Leadership & Development
- Demonstrates the ability to identify key issues, inspire team engagement, and foster a sense of ownership and collaboration.
- Effectively plans and prioritizes work to manage multiple initiatives and meet critical deadlines.
Promotes ongoing growth and development, taking responsibility for nurturing talent and preparing the team for future business needs.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant scientific/engineering field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial/marketing leadership roles, preferably in medical technology, healthcare, or B2B technology sectors.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams from inception.
- Experience in both upstream product marketing and downstream commercialization, preferably in the medical technology/medical device space.
