Now Hiring: Technical/Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Competition #25-97)

Parkland County has an opportunity for a temporary, full‑time Technical/Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) position in the Technology & Digital Services department until approximately December 2026. Reporting to the Supervisor, Business/Technical Analyst, this position is responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring the D365 F&O platform and managing Microsoft upgrades and code modifications associated with the system. The Analyst will provide technical and functional expertise to support, optimize and enhance D365 operation and the financial and operational processes relying on D365 F&O. This position will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient system configurations and solutions to develop and enhance a mature, performant, and effective D365 F&O environment, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP), MBA, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are considered assets.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in system and application configuration, specifically with Microsoft and D365 platforms, with proven understanding of process & financial systems.
  • The ability to identify business needs, provide effective solutions, deliver value and provide training to enhance end user experience.
  • Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
The total rewards package for this position includes:

A starting annual salary of $90,500 to $101,800, based on a 35‑hour work week and the option to join the Earned Day Off Program. In addition, extended health and dental benefits, access to our confidential Employee and Family Assistance Program, paid sick time, three (3) weeks vacation a year with your birthday off and personal days are offered.
