Summary

The Analyst, IT Business Analysis position plays a key role in coordinating IT teams to document data strategy activities and provide oversight during project/initiative execution to ensure we are moving the strategy forward. The role will also involve facilitating requirements gathering with business teams and exploring potential solutions. Additionally, the role includes coordinating teams to ensure project outcomes are achieved and timelines are clear to stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to effectively coordinate and launch projects.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Support coordination activities to drive forward the data strategy along with overseeing key data initiatives and ensuring a plan is laid out to achieve commitments
• Assist with solicitation and elicitation of business requirements from the business teams, document the as-is and to-be processes using various business analyst models
• Support IT Business Partners and various IT teams to deliver IT/data solutions
• Support small to intermediate projects through the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change
• Assist in preparing regular and accurate reports for stakeholders
• Assist in documenting business stakeholder roadmap/strategy and IT strategy (quarterly)

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills and able to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Google Sheets or other data analysis tools
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically Google Docs and Slides.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A genuine interest in data, Project Management and IT strategy

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

• Entry level to 1 or 2 years of experience.

Typical Education

University degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce
