This role supports logistics and yard operations, performing various manual labor tasks to facilitate the movement of materials while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have experience in manual labor, with certifications in First Aid and a valid Class 5 Driver's License being advantageous. This entry level role of Yard Technician/Swamper within the Shipping and Receiving department in Nisku, AB supports logistics and yard operations by performing various manual labour tasks to support the movement of pipe and other materials within the yard according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Stock is tracked in an efficient and accurate manner using scanners on handheld devices in conjunction with the electronic inventory tracking system called PCD. This position works alongside equipment operators to load pipe onto truck beds according to customer inventory and material order details (i.e. picking slip).
Please note: Tenaris requires employees to pass a pre‑employment drug & alcohol test and fit test for this position as it is a safety sensitive position.
