Job summary
A leading retail corporation in Alberta is looking for a security professional to maintain the security of buildings and property. The role involves regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, access control, and responding to incidents. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Security Guard License. Competitive pay starts at $27.65 per hour. Shift hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must hold a valid Security Guard License.
Responsibilities
- Maintain building and yard security through regular patrols.
- Control perimeter access and monitor CCTV.
- Respond to incidents and perform inspections.
- Conduct theft investigations and audits.
Maintain building and yard security to ensure the integrity of its contents (persons, products and property) through regular patrols, CCTV and alarm monitoring. Investigating, reporting and documenting all incidences of loss including theft, property damage, and security breaches.
- Gatehouse – Inbound/outbound verification of loads, seals and paperwork completion, Gemini/YMS data entry.
- Front Counter Main Entrance – Perimeter access control, CCTV camera surveillance system, alarm systems – burglar and fire, Incident report central filing, switchboard control and personal property inspections.
- Performing inspections, audits, response to incidents, accidents, emergencies.
- Covert operations/theft investigations, and Safety Program procedures, checks, inspections and audits.
Shift: Tuesday‑Saturday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM
The rate of pay for this position starts from $27.65/hr.
Age - 18 or older | License - Security Guard License
