Job Summary
- Position: Android Developer
- Location: Calgary, Canada - Remote (must be legally authorized to work; no visa sponsorship)
- Company: Infiligence, a global technology company with offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, and California, USA
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Implement modern UI components and follow best practices
- Lead and execute data migration from Realm Sync to PowerSync, ensuring data integrity and performance
- Collaborate with backend teams for API integration and data synchronization
- Optimize app performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
- Debug and resolve application issues across various Android versions
- Stay updated with latest Android development trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 6 years' experience in Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
- Practical experience migrating databases from Realm Sync to PowerSync
- Understanding of mobile data sync and offline-first architectures
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Solid grasp of Android architecture components (MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData/State)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
