Job Summary

• Position: Android Developer
• Location: Calgary, Canada - Remote (must be legally authorized to work; no visa sponsorship)
• Company: Infiligence, a global technology company with offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, and California, USA

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Implement modern UI components and follow best practices
• Lead and execute data migration from Realm Sync to PowerSync, ensuring data integrity and performance
• Collaborate with backend teams for API integration and data synchronization
• Optimize app performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Debug and resolve application issues across various Android versions
• Stay updated with latest Android development trends and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4 6 years' experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Practical experience migrating databases from Realm Sync to PowerSync
• Understanding of mobile data sync and offline-first architectures
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
• Solid grasp of Android architecture components (MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData/State)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
