Remote z/OS Systems Programmer – Contract (Canada)
Job summary
A Technical Talent Provider is looking for a bilingual z/OS Systems Programmer to work remotely on a 12-month renewable contract. Responsibilities include providing expertise in complex networks, troubleshooting systems, and interaction with vendors. Proficiency in English and French is required. Strong knowledge of z/OS and system utilities is essential. This role offers a competitive rate of $100 - $120/hr.
Qualifications
- Experience with z/OS install and support, system utilities, and related ISVs.
- Strong knowledge of System Utilities (DFDSS, IDCAMS, IEBGENER).
- Experience with on-call rotations and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide services in multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex networks.
- Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot z/OS related activities.
