A construction company in Calgary is seeking a Drywall Installer for a permanent, full-time position. The role includes on-the-road work, requiring specialized environmental skills and various tasks like applying coatings and installing drywall. Safety gear is essential. This position offers a salary of $36.00 per hour, with flexible hours. Interested applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
Competenze

- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
- Clean and prepare surfaces.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife.
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
- Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
- Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
- Prepare wall and ceiling layouts.
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
