Job summary
A venture-backed beverage company located in Canada is seeking a hands-on finance leader focused on weekly financial reporting and budget analysis. The successful candidate will oversee an overseas accounting team and build financial models for leadership insights. Ideal applicants have 7-12 years of experience in finance leadership, strong Excel skills, and a background in the CPG sector. - 7–12 years in FP&A or finance leadership roles in venture-backed CPG or beverage.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working directly from QuickBooks data.
- Ability to communicate financial insights to executives.
Responsibilities
- Own weekly financial reporting with QuickBooks and Excel.
- Analyze budget vs. actuals and document corrective actions.
- Build and maintain a three-statement financial model.
- Manage work from overseas accounting teams.
- Maintain rolling forecasts and cash visibility for leaders.
